1 Definitions
"Company" means The Roof and Wall Doctor Group Ltd, SC810483, with registered office at Station House, 4 Station Road, Oakley, KY12 9QF.
"Customer" means the person or business ordering services from the Company.
"Services" means the roof and/or wall coating services as described in the Contract.
"Contract" means the written agreement between the Company and the Customer for the supply
of Services.
2 Quotation and Acceptance
2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
2.2 A contract is formed when the Customer accepts the quotation in writing (including email) or pays a deposit.
3 Cooling-Off Period
3.1 If the Customer is a consumer, they have the right to cancel the Contract within 14 days of acceptance without giving any reason, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
3.2 If the Customer requests that work begins during the cooling-off period, they may be required to pay for any work completed if they cancel.
4 Services
4.1 The Company will carry out the Services with reasonable skill and care, using appropriate materials.
4.2 Any dates for completion are estimates only and time is not of the essence.
4.3 The Customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
5 Payment
5.1 The Customer agrees to pay the price agreed in the quotation.
5.2 A deposit of 20% is payable upon acceptance of the quotation.
5.3 The balance is due upon completion of the Services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.4 Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
6 Warranty
6.1 The Company warrants that the Services will be free from defects in workmanship for 10 years from completion.
6.2 This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, neglect, extreme weather, or lack of maintenance.
7 Customer Obligations
7.1 The Customer shall provide clear access, electricity, and water if required.
7.2 The Customer shall remove or protect any items or areas that could be damaged.
8 Limitation of Liability
8.1 The Company's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the Contract price.
8.2 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9 Termination
9.1 Either party may terminate the Contract if the other party commits a material breach and fails to remedy it within 14 days.
10 Governing Law
10.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
11 Complaints

12 Data Protection
12.1 The Company shall comply with all applicable data protection laws.
